Tension or conflict may allow relationships (that had previously been superficial in nature) to go to a deeper level of intimacy and mutual understanding. It reminds me of a quote by J.W. Marriott, Sr.: &quot;Good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger the wind the stronger the trees.&quot;</description>
