Yes, Denise, it’s still there – at 17th and Champa in downtown Denver. We don’t get downtown as much as we used to but still try and go every December for the Parade of Lights. The Broker is always brimming with holiday decor and, after the parade, we head back into the restaurant for dessert and hot cocoa. This not only makes the kids happy but it allows post-parade traffic to clear – which makes me happy. ; )

Thank you for sharing the story. A great reminder at this Thanksgiving time that customer service is not about making a profit, it is about serving the customer.

Came across this story while looking for things to do in Denver for my husbands 60th B-day. We are going to the Broker restaurant a tradition now for a few years now and even in the worst weather we have made it there.
Now to read the story of how wonderful the owner of the Broker was to honor this family makes it even more meaningful to be part of a great place to celebrate family times.. e
